Director: Terry Jones

Starring: Them Monty Python Blokes
Monty Python’s The Life of Brian regales the pic story and
quest Brian. This is completely wrong. The movie lacks any common sense or
logic. It truly tells the story of about two days in the life of Brian and it
is solidly… good.
This movie is probably one of the most quotable experiences of my entire life. Between Bigus Dickus and the Judean People’s Front, I honestly don’t think I will ever shake the memory of some of these lines. I actually learnt about this movie through word of mouth. By that I mean someone started quoted Pontius Pilate (Also the final song has been used in every UK pantomime since it was written). On top of this, the movie is pretty hilarious. It is ridiculous, but hilarious. If there was any film that made my dad cackle like the wicked witch of the west, then it is this one.
Unfortunately, where this movie falls apart are the moments where it isn’t funny at all. The problem here is that the movie has nothing to give other than being funny. While this is supposedly more of a flowing movie than Monty Python’s Holy Grail, (which is said to merely be a bunch of sketch ideas thrown together) there are still visible moments where the scene is ONLY trying to be funny and, in my opinion, fails in a rather awkward fashion.
Monty Python have expertly devised this movie to make you laugh but have unfortunately left some comedy cracks visible. No fear however because the hours of catchphrases you will gain, will fill them in in no time. If you are able to look past some glaringly awkward moments then this movie is definitely worth a watch.
In the unlikely case that you are wondering where Marvel Monday is... well it doesn't exist. It has become glaringly obvious that the Marvel wiki is too prone to people tampering with pages and unfortunately it is now far more difficult to research these characters. So yeah!
